I totally know people like that, and people who've dated people like that. I can't stand the whole "must remain friends" thing- if it's uncomfortable, stop torturing yourself and get away from them.

trying to be friends is torture.

get away for like 6 months, if you run into each other again, and it doesn't seem to weird, then try and be freinds.

i feel bad for guys who have PFS (potential friend syndrome) where they can't ever seem to get a girlfriend but have like 6 bejillion close female friends. poor dudes.
anyway, i know COUNTLESS girls that fit that description above, and the sucker ass dudes that trail after them. it's sad but funny.
