A live version is now available, thanks to bulletbeast - check a thread by him below.
The song itself is from Projector era and the live version is taken from the Live Projector bootleg.
About the lyrics, I have never seen them anywhere.
If that long-awaited "rare-songs-collection" will ever be released, Misery in Me should definitely be included.

are there enough rares to justify such a release? well, maybe with a bit of re-recording here and there and a few unknown ones...
as far as we know, said collection might include:
- pre-skydancer tracks (re-recorded, please!)
- cover bonus and compilation songs (22 acacia avenue, my friend of misery, lady in black, sacred reich, bringer of torture)
- exposure + cornered
- misery in me

Well, Niklas told me once that there are 4-5 "leftover"-songs from Projector and Haven -recordings. As Misery in Me, Exposure and Cornered are included there as far as I know, it still leaves 1-2 songs that are recorded, but never released.
I would buy such a collection any day.

I finally found a mp3 of this song. It's 2:40 long, and seems to be cut off in the end. Could somebody who has this song tell me if this is the full length, or is there more to it?

I have it somewhere.. Haven't listened to it since I quit sharing the bootleg and that's long time ago so I don't remember how long it was but I don't think it was cut off in the end.. Maybe I should find out where it is and listen to it again someday.
