The Black Box just became a serious contender with the latest Firmware update. To be honest my first impressions were not impressive...now its looking pretty sweet.

Amps Models Increased from 12-40
Notably some of the juicy ones.
Bogner Uberschall and Ecstasy
ENGL Powerball
Peavey 5150 II
Mesa Dual rec and Mark IIC
Fender Deluxe Reverb
VOX AC30
Roland Jazz Chorus
also some bass amps.

the gain high and low were editable but now a mid controll aswell.
also a reverb and compressor was added.

Effects from 43 - 121.
Too numerous to list...but some Beat Syncable effects and Arpeggiator...

A drum machine with 100beats....(dunno about that one, but practising with a beat is so much more fun with a beat instead of a click)

But maybe the selling point for me...M-Powered Support!!!!

I know the amp modelling may not be up to pod xt standards(I hope someone here could verify?) ...but with the added m-powered support...its a cool setup for some home demos and cool for us who want to do some tedious editing at home to bring to the studio.

It's looking good on paper, but does anyone have any more info on how it actually sounds like?
