Oh right in Illinois..I'll probably be wearing my CDC shirt

i will be there. i was gonna be in chicago for my b-day (oct 20th)anyway , so now i'm coming up a couple of days early. tickets go on sale saturday right ?

Seeing the show on the 21st in Irvine - just about a mile or so from my new work location. I'm working the next day at 5:45 a.m., but I don't give a fuck. :kickass:

Yeah Saturday at noon (12:00 PM)

this is going to be fucking sweet ive been waiting for maiden to come:rock:

does anybody know what they r playing (new stuff old stuff)

I'm going to that show as well. I grew up in rolling meadows, but now I live downstate about 4 hours. Thinking about taking my soon-to-be 13 year old daughter with me, to me Maiden is one of the all-time must-see bands. Unfortunately, I'm sure they'r going to play alot of new(er) material, because they're trying deserately to remain 'relevant' in today's music scene. Don't get me wrong, I love Maiden, and I've already pre-ordered (and now downloaded/burned/listened to) 'A Matter of Life and Death'. And it's alright, but they're nowhere close to as great as they were 20+ years ago.

My husband and I are going. We got tickets in section 101 (I don't do the floor anymore at shows).
I'm so glad they are playing there and not somewhere in the Loop, cuz then we couldn't go. But, since Rosemont is only 20 minutes away, we could do a "school night" show.

Hey, I grew up in Rolling Meadows too!!! Now I live in Buffalo Grove and in a month I'm closing on a house in Wonder Lake.

I just got my Maiden tix, section 116.

Meadows or Fremd ? Sandburg or Plum Grove ?
I went to Sandburg and Fremd, class of '88. Also, my tix are section 102. I screwed up when ordering my tickets, I was planning to get floor tickets. But since I'm in the seats, I'm thinking it'll be safe to bring my daughter. It's a 4-hour car ride home, but she'll sleep the entire way home, and she's only got a half a day of school the next day. I wish my parents had been so cool about concerts when I was growing up. Twenty years ago I had to sneak out of the house to see Maiden 'Somewhere on Tour' in the same building.

I have tickets in sec 101. Rosemont is two minutes from where I live. I guess I'll take a limo there.

There's a Panda Express, Target, Steak and Shake(open kate), chilis, and Ihop directly next to Allstate Arena. I think there's a burrito place though.

I don't mind the new stuff being played. It is that they keep playing the same old old stuff tour after tour. change it up as I want to hear different songs from piece of mind, powerslave for example.
