Can someone (perhaps the maidens themselves lol) tell me what they use on stage? I mean i saw the recent pics but it would be nice to know the details of all the hardware on stage :)) does it match with Iron Maiden's? Specifically i am interested in drums and bass.

My drums don't match the specs of Nicko's setup mostly because I would never be able to fit a kit like that into my truck to get to gigs! LOL! He uses/endorses Premier drums and I use/endorse DW drums...the finest drums in the world!!!!! ;) And his kit is about three times as huge as mine. I use 8, 10, 12, 14 & 16" power toms/floor toms and an 18x22 kick, custom birch drums. All DW hardware and pedals, Paiste cymbals (like Nicko does!) but again only about 1/10 the amount he has. Usually 16, 17, 18" crashes, 20" Novo China, 22" Power ride, 14 heavy hi hats. Maybe someday I can afford to go all out and replicate one of his kits.......I'd really LOVE to have a kit like he had with all the faces of Eddie on all the drums! That was soooo droolable! :worship:

Thanks for sharing the info. I was watchin the Visions of the Beast DVD and yea his drum set really kicks ass.
I really wanna learn to play drums...altho it might be too late since im 30 now :p but I think i could be good at it......:) Any tips for a newbie like me? lol

Anyways, looking forward to seein you ladies play in Portland.

Oh and my fav album now is Somewhere in time....I am kinda over Killers now lol....I was listening to it night and day indoors and outdoors. I got myself killer'ed out (for a few weeks atleast lol).

no such thing as too much killers!! trust me, some of the most fun bass that maiden has to offer is from that album. but thats just my opinion ;)

It's never too late to learn an instrument. Get some drums and a teacher is recommended for at least a while. There are a ton of books, dvd's, and computer software available to help the process, also. You can have fun just pounding them and trying to play along with your favorite groups, even if you are only getting one thing at a time right. Practice, practice, practice, and most of all with whatever instrument you wanna play, HAVE FUN!

The bass on Killers is awesome - I particularly love it on Another Life. Superb!
