the drummer on that disc is in Bach's band now.

thundersteel was as far as I can remember, one of the first metal/power/thrash mixes I have heard ... it was like the blueprint for JP's Painkiller almost

The funny thing is that Thundersteel is conceptually VERY similar to JP's Ram It Down, yet people seem to hate that disc!

Riot's evolution as a band is one of the mysteries in rock/metal ... Mark Reale, the leader then ... is from my neck of the woods here in Queens, used to see him play weird bars, dives, doing covers ... with a big fat RIOT belt buckle
