Yes i am making a documentary on how to start a metal band, as i am a film maker.

I need some information from people in bands, and those wanting to start one. Just a few questions answered. If you could reply to this threat or even better message me your answers that would be great. Thanx.

Keep it metal

How old are you? (optional)

Are you in a band?

When you formed your band, would you have found it usefull to have a documentary about starting a band helpfull?

Would you have bought it on DVD?

How much would you have paid for it if the answer is yes to previous question?

Would you have bought a magazine if there was a tester of the DVD free with it?

What type of magazine do you usually buy?

If you liked what you saw, would you buy the full DVD?

Would you want extra's on the DVD?

If so, what extra's?

Are you in a band? Yes

When you formed your band, would you have found it usefull to have a documentary about starting a band helpfull? Not really. interesting though.

Would you have bought it on DVD? No.

Would you have bought a magazine if there was a tester of the DVD free with it? If I was gonna buy the magazine anyway.

What type of magazine do you usually buy? None really. Metal magazines.

If you liked what you saw, would you buy the full DVD? Maybe.

Would you want extra's on the DVD? one or two never hurt.

If so, what extra's? Well I don;t really know enough about the documentary to be able to know what extras would be suitable. Maybe just extra footage that wasn't used in the film.

Good idea. Which style of a documentary?
I wouldn't buy that either, even if I liked the tester. Well not unless it had absolutely perfect "The Touch".
You could sell the thing to Kids TV.
Extra footage yes, perhaps of each member solely, bios style but not that formal. Or whatever is left to a shorter notice in the doc itself.
