THIS is the moment a wild bear suffered a devastating electric shock at the top of a telegraph pole yet STILL escaped with her life.
The giant mother bear climbed the 30ft pole as she searched for her lost cub in the middle of a US street.
Furry risky ... bear teeters on pole
But as a crowd looked on in horror the beast put her massive paw on a live transformer sending 7,200 volts through her fur-covered body.
Paw judgment ... she clings to wire
As these amazing pictures show, the shock caused a spectacular explosion of sparks and sent the bear flying helplessly through the air.
Onlookers gasped as the stunned animal plunged to the ground and landed with a thud on the concrete below.

Police in New Mexico feared the worst when they carefully approached the bear while she lay unconscious.
But to their astonishment, the creature survived the fall and has now been re-united with her cub.

A police spokesman said: This is one very lucky bear. Normally, youd expect the fall to kill her even if she survived the electric shock. The fact she recovered fully is something of a miracle.
Perhaps this bear should stick to climbing trees theres less chance of a grizzly end.
