Mangos

and by the way... salads that contain LETTUCE are NOT real salads...
lettuce has no nutritional vallues at all, much like cucumbers.
so the body makes no effort to digest them, and they leave our bodies fast.
Try to make a salad with only tomatos, bell peppers, raddishes, and instead of lettuce: put cabage in.
healthier: and trust me: it will fill you up!

oh yeah, about these veggies (lettuce and such): your body use more energy to digest them compared to the energy that you will receive from them. So yeah, that's a very good way to lose fat

Mango.

Jeremy.

What are you talking about it being so hard to find in the US? In NYC, I have it almost every day. I don't even get it as sushi. I love sushi but the seaweed and rice takes away from the fish's flavor. That's why I usually get sashimi too, but I'm not going to pay the extra for the toro as sushi.

hey jeremy!

well, I eat it here, but not as often... Plus, Toro has a "season" and sometimes its hard to get. all and all: what a delicious fish! *drools*

nah, lettuce is for me a "filler" .
If I put greens in my salad they have to be darker. The darker the green is
the better it is for you. I put musturd greens/ dandaloins/ chard/ turnip etc.
I share my greens with my lizards hahaha

When I was in Jamaica last summer, I had some really GREAT Mangos there...
yum.

what's the board's opinion about berries?
These are my all time favorite :D

I love Berries...blackberries, blueberries, cranberries, raspberries...throw em all into a blender and make a smoothie out of em :kickass:

I work at a Henry's grocery store, and their big thing is fresh, organic produce (well, everything in the store is organic), so the fruits and veggies there taste amazing

Romaine lettuce is supposed to be really healthy. I don't know whether or not it really is, but I love it so I use it.

I know toro has a season, I just don't know which season it is hahaha. I've only bought it by the pound twice. The first time, there was a new person who took my order and didn't charge me the right price, so I bought two pounds of it for 30 bucks. The next time I did that, the regular guy took my order and when I picked it up, I had to pay 200 for it.
Obviously restaurants are much more expensive than somewhere that sells sushi grade fish, but I don't know where to find places that sell the fish that isn't stringy. I guess the more restaurants and sushi bars there are, the less likely an individual could find good sushi fish from a dealer.
