Mangos

Mangos, grapefruits and not quite ripened kiwis. I got 40 of them a few days ago and I'm already out. So sour, so addicting.
I also live on fresh produce. I'm not a vegetarian or anything since I eat a lot of fish and some meat, but I just prefer it.

I just rip the skin off, get all the stuff that is still left on the skin and just keep a big plate next to me and some paper towels. Then I wash my hands and face. I wouldn't be caught dead doing that in public, but mangos are good enough to not care about being a pig at home.

mmmmm I love mangos.
I live on fruits and vegtables.
I'm serious, you should see my shopping cart at the grocery store...
Its more fruits and veggies than anything else...

Mangos rule!

Ironically, my cart consists of meat, chicken, fish, etc. I never buy any fruits or vegetables, except when I want a ceasar salad. Then again, I'll buy a chicken breast to go with it, cause otherwise I'll end up starving an hour after.

You know sometimes I can starve an hour after a hamburger ;)
It all depends.
I hope you combine veggies with your meat: protien and fiber can keep your stomach busy for even longer!

I honestly think that there's nothing better than healthy good, WHOLE foods... fresh, real, no presservatives, 100% natural.....

Speaking of fish, Asmodea: thats what I had for dinner with a million of vaggies around :goggly:

I usually make some slightly undercooked rice with my vegetables, that usually fills me up. I like rice better when it is still a little crunchy. Except for sushi rice, which is better the way it is supposed to be.
But eating enough of the vegetables would fill you up.

Saulmon?? That's what I ate yesterday.... with brown rice around... man that was good. I would eat saulmon everyday. Plus, it's composed of healthy fat.

and by the way... salads that contain LETTUCE are NOT real salads...
lettuce has no nutritional vallues at all, much like cucumbers.
so the body makes no effort to digest them, and they leave our bodies fast.
Try to make a salad with only tomatos, bell peppers, raddishes, and instead of lettuce: put cabage in.
healthier: and trust me: it will fill you up!

Salmon is my favorite fish. Another great fatty fish is fatty tuna. It's really expensive, but it is one of the best sushi fish you could buy. Never had it cooked though.

I never had cooked yellowtail either. Always had it as sashimi or nagiri.

oh my goodness MetalHead87 (whats your real name anyways?)

Toro is indeed the best fish in the world :D
The amazing part is: it comes from this area: North Carolina/ South carolina
but Japanese bidders are waiting on the dock: and every time someone catches one, they buy it for thousands of dollars. By the time the fish gets to japan: it price is around 30k-70k depends on the weight.
I've had Toro many times, but almost never in the states... its simply almost impossible to find it HERE!
Great fish though.

Jeremy.

What are you talking about it being so hard to find in the US? In NYC, I have it almost every day. I don't even get it as sushi. I love sushi but the seaweed and rice takes away from the fish's flavor. That's why I usually get sashimi too, but I'm not going to pay the extra for the toro as sushi.

^ yeah but sadly, most of them are full of Mercury also :(

Fish is the best food one can eat.

and no, actually I had a yellow tail fillet tonight :p

no, the mercury thing is a myth, saulmon is okay. It's tuna that you can't eat as often as you want, especially if you're pregnant. All the other fishes are supposed to contain a very minimal dose of mercury. Unless you eat fish for breakfast and dinner, you're fine.

wow. hmm, being at school definately limits my eating options, but i'll remember that the next time i'm at the grocery store.
