Germany's Solemnity Music will release the first official tribute to MANILLA ROAD, entitled "The Riddle Masters", on double CD next weekend (April 14) to coincide with the Keep It True festival. The brilliant cover artwork was created by Jowita Kaminska.

Makes sense that Slough Feg would cover a song from the debut. When I interviewed Mike, he was pretty up front about saying he only likes their first 2 albums.

Ironically, I've never heard those first two MR albums!!! :eek:

Who cares what Mike thinks, he doesn't even like Addendum Galactus. :loco:

I've listened to Metal, and it's more of a Heavy Rock album. Good stuff though.

I'm surprised swizzle hasn't posted in here yet, being as big of a MR fan as he is.

Anyway, I'm excited to hear this.

The reason why is because I don't care about Tribute CDs. I usually dislike covers on albums, especially when I enjoy the original.

I probably won't ever listen to it.
 
I already have listened to it a few times, and while it's good, the original is still better.
