"In one week, the March 12th date at the Cleveland Agora sold out. Due to overwhelming demand, the band added a second date, on Friday, March 11th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Jan 15). As previously reported these will be the only North American dates, where Manowar will perform the recently re-recorded Battle Hymns in its entirety. "

"On Friday night, January 14th, MANOWAR bassist/mainman Joey DeMaio called into Bill Peter's long running Metal On Metal radio show on WJCU to discuss the pair of excluisve North American concerts at the Cleveland Agora (March 11th and 12th).

DeMaio: "That's 99.9% true, we've added a show on the East coast (The Palladium, Worcester, MA on March 5th). If people are questioning the price of a Manowar ticket, stay at home and play with yourself. You're not a Manowar fan! They don't mind when they blow (money) on coke, hookers or booze, bowling or pool. To give to your fans, it costs money. Tell the fans to go to Facebook and let us know what they want to hear. I'm not just saying that to scratch somebody's ass, we really mean it! We want them to be happy. They're coming from all over the world. It will be recorded, that's why we've added the second date, so we can do all kinds of crazy stuff."

On upcoming projects: "As we get into the next couple of years we're going to go into the archives, lots of stuff. We're working on a DVD right now about the making of Battle Hymns, complete with exclusive old photos, footage."

On the Magic Circle festivals: "We've been discussing possibly bringing it to the States. You never know. It might be right there in Cleveland."

Worcester Palladium show is now being listed on the website (probably went up a few days ago). Anyway, paying $75 on top of travel & lodging costs for Cleveland was pushing it, but having one out here does put this into the realm of possibility for me now. It's probably now or never as far as me seeing Manowar goes.

Lets book one show and label it exclusive and see how it sells.

Oh wait its sold out! we made some serious cash!

Lets add another Exclusive date!!!!

Then after that sells out LETS ADD ANOTHER ONE!!!!!

Sorry but seems like a blatant tickets selling scheme from Manomoney.

Kudos though, its working! hahaha i wish i could see it.

Heh. I am kind of hoping that ticket sales are extremely slow, leading the band to lower the price.
I believe the ticket sales for Cleveland were so far above what they had projected they added a second night. The show is Worcester, in a much more populated area, within reasonable driving distance from NYC, should sell out quite rapidly.

Well, my tickets finally arrived! I will be attending BOTH the Friday & Saturday night shows in Cleveland. Yes, I'm that big of a fan, despite all of the lunacy ...

Zod, I'm SOOOOO disappointed that I am not going to be able to hang out with you in Cleveland. BAH!

Is anybody else going? Be sure you give a shout out soon -- it's great to be able to say hi to the PP family more than once a year!

I'll be there with my son. I'm the lucky SOB who bought Zod's tix for Saturday night. Cannot wait for this show!!!! I'll keep an eye out for ya.
