I'm hesitant to buy this record based on the samples I've heard. There just doesn't seem to be any oomph, passion or speed of old. I guess I want to hear the fire of a Somebody's Waiting or Speed Demon. Hope I'm wrong...

yeah the new album is mostly midtempo rockers. nothing fast like old school keel

I agree guys. If you're looking for The final Frontier or the self-titled, this is not the same band. Ron sounds great but the songs lack a pair of ___!

I don't mind mid-tempo tunes (especially mid-90's Maiden & recent Priest) but if I wanted mellow I'd put on White Sister's Fashion By Passion.
