It looks like there's a reissue of MotS coming out in March from Rock Candy Records. Apparently they're a label concentrated on reissuing old classics but their website is "under construction" so I can't really back up this information much.

They've rereleased Riot's Narita and some other stuff last year as well and looks like they really put an effort to the releases:

"Rock Candy's reissues are remastered from original master tapes, contain original and enhanced artwork, 4,000-word essays, extra photos and 16-page full colour booklets. They state that their attention to detail is second to none."

Sounds pretty nice to me... And with MotS being the only Saint album I don't have on cd yet (can't find the '95 Metal Blade anywhere), I'm really looking forward to this.

Get Revelation, it's a bit more current.

I'll ditto that.
MotS is great, but in the year 2006, I would be getting "Revelation" and "Symbol of Salvation" first.... if you don't have anything else.

This is what CDuniverse had to say:

"2006 digitally remastered issue of the 1984 Metal classic. This edition adds three bonus tracks: 24 track demo versions of "March Of The Saint", "Mutiny On The World" and "Seducer". The original artwork is restored and new informative liner notes have been added to the package as well."

Good thing they've actually remastered the thing, the original production was kinda weak. I'm not sure what kind of a boost a remastering can give to a 20 year old album but hey, at least they're trying. The bonus tracks are, well, completely useless but still a nice addition.

I got my hands on this reissue yesterday and it's very nicely done! The booklet has an interview with John and Joey about the recordings and a bunch of old photos, posters and such. I don't know if the sound is very much different from the originals but it sounds good. At least it's not any worse than before. As you'd expect, there's not much to say about the bonus tracks. You listen to them once out of curiosity and after that you forget about them. :heh:

The booklet also mentions that Delirious Nomad will be reissued by Rock Candy in the future. I'm hoping they'll do Raising Fear and perhaps Saints Will Conquer as well while they're at it. This is really one of the better rereleases I've seen and it would be cool to see the entire backcatalogue brought "up to date" like this.:kickass:
