what do you think of these bands i havem't head anything from them, what do they sound like?

Well, Spock's beard is a progressive rock-ish kinda band. Pretty cool stuff.

Don't know about the other ones.

Jelly Jam is a solo project of Dream Theater bassist John Myung...my friend Blackout purchased it...his comments about it were very positive.

Anyway don't expect technical music such as Dream Theater...the music seem to be very rock-ish with an emminant progressive feeling.

Spock's Beard's new album Snow is a *very* good prog record!

Marillion are a prog rock band too. They jam with Dream Theater sometimes, but are not as heavy as them. I personally think they are amazing.

i might pick up snow tonight plus new porcupine tree or bloodbath

The new Porcupine Tree is amazing. I would avoid Snow, it is loaded with filler and is predominantly boring...and I've never liked Spock's to begin with.
