This isn't such a bad record. At least Manson is now stealing from more interesting places. Dada and 1920's Berlin decadence were pretty much an untapped resource in this field of music before GAOG.
With every year that goes by I have less respect for Manson as an artist, but as an entertainer and a showman I still like him every bit as much as I did when I was a short-haired teenager being blown away by this strange new thing called "industrial metal".
