I’ve just read your email. Allow me to express our regrets, on behalf of the band and all connected, for your inconvenience and expense. The one thing we don’t understand is that the termination of the San Antonio show was announced quite some time ago. The promoters pulled out and their cancellation was common knowledge according to reliable sources in that market.

We spent an enormous amount of time, effort, money and energy trying to get the band into the country. Let me assure you that there is nothing fishy, whatsoever, when it comes to the difficulties concerning immigration these days. The war, Homeland Security issues and consulate interviews being postponed or cancelled are just some of the pitfalls that have created the circumstances of this tour being postponed into next year.

It’s the truth. Believe you me, we are at least as unhappy as you are.

At least he replied I suppose. Save this letter and see if it matches the one he sends in April 2006, after the March tour is canceled.

my response was not as nice as yours. :)

subject: re: YOU`RE FIRED!!

You don’t know what you’re talking about. We busted our asses to get the band here. Everything was done flawlessly from our end, above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks for the conspicuous display of your lack of knowledge.

it`s nice to know someone reads e-mails when they`re sent. Hopefully Saxon will settle the visa issues and get here soon. I didn`t lose much money at all. $3.25 to be exact. I would be livid if I had made plans with car rentals, airfare, hotels, etc...
