Mark King?

Does anybody here rate Mark King as bassist......

He is one of the best Slap players In my opinion....

And level 42 are the best!!

especially Love Games!

Yeah, I Know that guy, but he's not among my faves, since I don't prefer Slapping that much (...but Vic Wooten is the real "King" in that discipline). Mark King is actually a drummer, I've read, who switched to the bass. I like some of his things but all in all, it's just to poppy for - perhaps I don't know the good stuff?!

yea some of the early stuff is real good.....

Its just straight out funk really with a tad of fusion....

Some of the later stuff is really poppy though they kinda sold out towards the end of their carreer....

and yes Mark King was a drummer to begin with but his main instrument is the bass.
