One of the greatest actors of our time (although some of us were not around during his prime... "On the Waterfront", "A Streetcar Named Desire"... "The Godfather"...) has died at the age of 80...
Rest in Peace

I met him once after a concert and though he was not the trim handsome star of old, he had an incredible charisma and power. One of my all time favorite actors. I'm thankful for the magic of celluloid! Rest peacefully, Marlon.

Girl: "What're you rebelling against, Johnny?"

Johnny: "Whaddya got?" -- Johnny Strabler The Wild One (1953)

i saw this film i high school cuz i'd heard it was banned for awhile. there's a cool edgyness to it- though it's a bit dated - but this quote has been stuck in my head ever since.

I had a bit of a strange Marlon Brando experience...
I was working the upper tier support at Earthlink, and I get a call through the VIP queue... it was the operator and she said "I have Marlon Brando on the line"
Took me a few seconds to get it straight in my head and before I knew it, he was on the line. He wanted to know if we had digital service under Mullholland drive... he probably confused us with the phone company... My supervisor didn't believe that he was on the line, so she started monitoring the call...
Before I knew it, he hung up... without getting his answer...
Weird... eh?
RIP
