Mastering blackened death metal

The mix needs a ton of work, not the guitars.

Guitars sound super middy and overly saturated, definitely digital. Right guitar is louder, and they cover the drums which are definitely fake. Kick is way too clicky and the snare has a weird resonance to it, sounds like the bottom mic is cranked.

This is my first attempt to this kind of guitar riffs, with all these melodies and higher notes, mixed with lower notes, this mix was really new for me, don't know if I could manage better than this...

For me, the guitars are lacking low mids, which is unusual because that's usually the area I have to reduce. And the bass, although audible, is a bit indistinct - I'd be tempted to push it up in the mix. It's fine having a thin and trebly guitar sound if you're going for the lo-fi black metal approach, but your drums are too tight and processed-sounding for that to sound authentic, I think.

Chester, just balance the drums a little more (compress or automate leveling) and you'll be fine. Yes, the guitars/mix doesn't sound like everyone else but that's why I like this. The riffs are awesome and there is actually a lot of feel to it. Definitely post an update when the drums are leveled better!
