mastering tips?

i'm just finishing up mixing some songs and i was just wondering if anybody has an mastering tips. i've never really done it before. if it helps, i got cakewalk guitar tracks pro.

I've been trying to get into myself recently too. I thought this mastering guide for Ozone 2.0 was an especially good start: http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/ozone/ozoneguide.html

Get the software too if you can, it's good, and it should work in Cakewalk. But even if you don't use Ozone, the guide is helpful.
