Mastodon on Letterman

Back to topic. They go out of key in the video a bunch but meh, it's not that bad. It's not like Brent and Troy are classically trained singers haha.

Brent's tattoo reminds me of

Personally, I didn't know the drummer was one of the vocalists. The guitarists vocals seemed to improve at the end, though...The rest looked like they were struggling hardcore...

Love that artwork, though.

It feels really good to be able to completely agree with an entire post of yours. Cheers.

I got a nice surprise the other day with this,
I was about to go to sleep and i hear Letterman speaking of mastodon.

They didnt do too bad,
except obv. the vocals.
Although it was cool to see them perform,
I just think it was a bad idea from the get go to perform on the letterman show.

They were a supporting act for Slayer when I saw them and they dominated the stage. Slayer came on and just did the usual. Mastodon were badass :kickass:

Adam? :yow:

On topic, although Ive never nees Letterman's show, (don't have it here in Greece, I find it a tad weird that he has a Metal band on his show (?)

He usually has normal rock acts, but I've seen Megadeth and Alice in Chains on his show before.

David Letterman has been around for about 30 years, so there are lots of people who have been on his show; rock, metal, country, pop, etc. are usually the regulars.

Usually Conan O'brien has heavy acts play somewhat regularly.

wow thats weird, that a show like that would host a metal band
in Greece no one would do that, they still think Metal is the devil's music

I remember when Jon Stewart had his own show years ago, he brought Slayer on and they performed Seasons in the Abyss.

I've seen Mastodon, Slipknot (well, it's sorta metal), and Lamb of God on Conan O'brien.
