Anyone heard this band? Death/black metal from Puerto Rico, consisting of all women. Pretty good stuff, and the growler sounds better than most males do (and shes hot). The other guitar player does operatic vocals which are really nice.... www.purevolume.com/matriarch

Well compared to Angela Gossow, you actually can't tell that the growler is female at all. Although, in that form of growling, the vocal chords aren't being used.

The music itself is a bit too cheesy and has too many simplistic/chaotic ideas for me.

Matriarch is pretty good. I've talked to Shamara (the drummer) through e-mail a few times. She's cool as fuck and likes a lot of great bands too.
