There is to be a live action TF movie, but I guess Tom Hanks isn't involved, THANKFULLY. Speilberg is at least producing it though, not sure if he's directing as well.

The thing about Michael Bay is that he makes movies like MTV music videos. If you ever see any of his flicks, each scene doesn't last more than 2 minutes. Throw in the orange sunset / sunrise, shaky cameras, slow motion segments....

....perfect for short-attention span audience aka the sort of people wanting to see a Transformers movie.

He was my favorite singer, and his departure was quite sad. However, I give him credit. He's following his heart and doing what he wants to do. And the fact that he wants to give something back to his country and make the U.S. a safer place is quite admirable.
