I was just reading some reviews of Wacken 2003 - and I came across a review that mentions briefly Twisted Tower Dire ... and a couple of pix of Matt filling in on guitar.

I thought I remembered The Trooper .... but I was in a hot, humid, slightly inebriated haze so my memory could be wrong

Don't ever order a water in Germany. You get this carbonated mineral stuff that tastes awful and does nothing to alleviate thirst. Beer woulda been better than that crap, and I hate beer.

Yeah I drank some water - until I discoverd what jamiek said. It was my first time in Germany/Europe. Normally I don't drink beer much either (take a look at my avatar and pick my poison of choice), but I learned to love german beer very quickly

A quick stint in the beer halls in Munich later on in my holiday helped reinforce that view

The water was as much a surprise as the porn on tv
