Matt & Ols Battery Cover

My band has just hooked up with a producer and he showed us some of his past work.

One part of this was a cover of Metallica's Battery done by Matt & Ol

Matt did the rhythms Bass & Vocals on this cover & Ol did the leads & drums.

Years ago a friend of ours was doing a course at Huddersfield University (Patrick Stewart represent) for Sound Engineering etc, and he asked if myself and Matt would come in and play Battery for him to engineer/produce, so we thought why not. Was a fun few days.

When it got to the part before the last verse, that weird drum fill, I realised I actually don't know it on drums, so I just......did it wrong. Loving my sloppy kicks too.

I'd guess this is 3 years ago, but i'm not sure, I've got no real sense of 'time memory' when a year has passed haha.
