Maudlin of the Well problem

honestly, kayo dot doesn't strike me as difficult/weird for its own sake. the man just writes the music that he's meant to write. as unique and strange as it is, to me it pretty much sounds natural. he doesn't force things.

Huh. Wow. I didn't know the originals were going for that much. I actually have the original pressings (not the remastered ones). I guess some day I could get a pretty penny for them. I don't want to sell them though.

I pretty much think that Kayo Dot is one of the best bands ever. I don't think it sounds forced at all. Toby is a genius and he writes some truly original sounding music, although it may take MANY listens to fully wrap your head around it.

so it seems like even the most obscure albums can be obtained by searching ebay or online music stores. however, i cant find Maudlin of the Well's Bath & Leaving your body map anywhere! i know their first album is available through dark symphonies, but can anyone help me with this dilemma?

I recomend pirating it and then waiting for a rerelease to buy it. Even though Bath and Leaving Your Body Map are spectacular, no album is worth paying 60 bucks for except Crimson IMO.

of course i have the albums downloaded, but i need the actual albums in meh' grubby hands. im afraid there may never be a re-release.

Hey man, so I called the four HUGE stores in my area that between them I've never EVER had to specially order a CD for and none of them have ANY maudlin albums... not even used. Sorry man, I tried!

thanks for the links ozzloaf! they each use to be $60 on amazon. still debating on whether i should try for lower. ill watch that ebay link as well.
