~Hi I'm new here looking for a cool place to post and meet new people since the Megadeth boards shut down. I'm a struggling guitarist/drummer, been into metal for about 12 years, and I'm living in Michigan where it's finally warming up after a brutal winter. Hopefully someday I will get to live in Japan to meet everyone.
~I'm really varied in music taste but mainly I'm into melodic metal from classic thrash like Testament, to the Gothenburg sound like Arch Enemy,... and even some black metal like Dissection. I've heard some great things about Japanese metal bands like Sigh, but otherwise I have no knowledge of the scene and I wanted to know a good place to start and maybe some must have albums and bands.
