So, what you're saying with this tournament is, who released the best debut, if we remove all the really good ones from the mix? In the end, one of the more mainstream bands will still win. That's just the way it goes.

Eh, I'm just trying to eliminate fanboyism out of the mix. Yea I should have removed Opeth, but as forum history indicates, most people here are fairly objective about their work, so they stayed. As opposed to say Negura Bunget getting votes for Zîrnindu-Sã all for the sake that they jizz to a picture of Negru holding a pine cone. All I wanted, was to give bands like Hermit's Harem a chance at top 32 glory.

Funny thing is that Arcane Sun is getting the votes from the people who have actually heard the album.

Kinda says something there, especially against Altars of Madness.

They'll probably lose in the first round. Not surprising considering everyone is familiar with Morbid Angel.
