"As far as I can go" has got to be one of the saddest most beautiful songs out there. When Lefay released "The seventh seal" (1999 I think) it took me a while to get it because as always with Lefay cd's they are not easy to find. A friend of mine that I turned into Lefay got it first and he lent it to me.
Another friend of mine had a little son (5) who was suffering from cancer. This kid died on July 20 and that last week I had been listening to this song a lot. Now everytime I listen to it I remember the kid, so this song has a lot of meaning to me.
But I was wondering about the original meaning of this song, does anyone know?
