So, after going to Leicester for three days to vist a friend and going out and getting shit face two nights in a row, i returened home at around 5.30 and went out again on the lash at about 7.30.

Besides Dancing like a spaz to Dragonforce etc, nearly getting in a fight with a squaddie over Vampires (don't ask), loosing everyone, covering myself in pizza and saving two frogs whilst waling a mile home in the pissing rain i also performed the rock classic "Bat Outa Hell" on Kareoke and recieved a resounding applaus and two free shots.

:kickass:

A good few days, I later discovered that in that 4 days i'd spent £236 ($409.79), i nearly cried due to the immense pain my wallet.

But back to Meat Loaf, what do you guys make of this rock legend?

:notworthy

N.B. Did you know? Englebert Humperdink has a house in Leicester.

Bat Out of Hell is a classic. Everything else is just an attempt to recapture that glory. My father played the hell out of "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" when I was a kid. My singing group in college did a disastrous version of it. It's on CD, too.... ugh. Utterly embarassing.

Oh yeah, he's great in Fight Club!

meatloaf is a guilty pleasure. I really enjoyed "life is a lemon (and i want my money back)" off of bat out of hell 2. Its more metal then half of the bands talked about on here. heh.

that is all

Not a huge fan of his music.

His daughter Pearl is Scott Ian's squeeze.

(word to the wise)
Don't let your meat loaf.

Meatloaf is a meat dish consisisting of seasoned ground meat (usually ground beef or a combination of ground beef with veal, lamb or pork), which is formed into loaf shape and baked. During the Great Depression it was popular to add cereal grains to the meatloaf to stretch the meat; this has now been adopted by people who wish to eat a lower-fat version of meatloaf. It is often served warm as part of the main course, but can also be found sliced as a cold cut. It is in many respects similar to pâté, which is generally more finely ground, however. The meatloaf can either be placed on a baking tray or in a mold. The result is usually shaped like a loaf of bread, but other shapes, e.g. heart shapes are possible.Meatloafs have likely been around as long as ground meat. Many meatloaf recipes are adapted from meatball recipes in the northeast of America. Many of these recipes call for pasta sauce or tomato sauce to be poured over the loaf to form a crust during baking. In the midwest of America the pasta sauce has been replaced with simple ketchup but is prepared in a similar manner. In Texas barbecue sauce is sometimes used.Meatloaf is an extremely versatile dish. The ground meat is frequently mixed with breadcrumbs or small pieces of bread soaked in milk, red wine (or another liquid), or oatmeal, and eggs in order to make it more dough-like. Salt, herbs and spices, such as parsley, as well as chopped vegetables, such as onions and celery may also be added. Another variety on meatloaf is prepared by frosting it with mashed potatos, drizzling it with a small amount of butter, and browning in the oven. Furthermore, meatloaves may be filled with eggs, cheese, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, or a combination of these ingredients. Meatloaf is best eaten with some kind of sauce or relish. The dish can be considered Italian (it is a cousin to the meatball), Middle American, or even soul food.Because of the potential hodge-podge of ingredients, meatloaf is a popular food in comedy, and usually portrayed as being ruined by a lack of cooking skill.
