I feel like starting again on this mix. I wanted a super natural sounding mix and it's just turned out super fake sounding and high end heavy.
I'd love some critique on it.

Drums were recorded real, but after adding some samples for reinforcement, the sound just sucks balls.

The guitars are XXX and 5150 combo.

(ignore the ending, the bounce was set too long)

At first I'd focus on the guitar tone. Maybe you could try referencing Megadeth's Endgame for a stellar tone? Seems like there's much less core mids, more bass, and a lot more gain. You could probably get in the ballpark with the amps you already have, it's just a matter of referencing a lot. A different tone will let the drums breathe through the mix more, and then I think it'll actually be easier to mix them.

Sick riffs man! the one at 2:05 really caught my ears. Overall the mix just needs some more low-mids, the guitars are a bit thin. It's recorded very tightly, and you don't see that everyday. :)
