Hi Mr X,
well megadeth were great last night.. didn't bother with the support bands.. stayed in pub and had some decent beers rather than the overpriced rubbish they serve at the Astoria in London.
Megadeth, played all that you heard so i will not repaet that. But will just say that Tout Le Monde was superb and so was Sweating Bulllets. The venue was packed out with a good crowd. I ended up meeting about 11 people as well as our little group of 7, so a bit of a party ensued.
The sound was okay but like you we did notice that on the odd occassion Dave's voice disappeared into the sound mix and you couldn't hear him. But we all think Pitrelli is a great guitarist. Little low point for me was when a crowd surfer managed to place a boot right in my face... thankfully he didn't damage me glasses but me bloody nose is sore this morning!!<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/embarassed.gif ALT="

"> (. Thats rock 'n' roll for ya i suppose.
Hope they come back soon.
As a side note i have been to Wolverhampton loads of times in the past. I have a female penfriend who used to live in Lowhill then Bushbury and is now in Cannock. I used to come up there and see her. We used to go into the Gifford at one point, when it was a rock pub (or the best pub). I have seen a few bands at the civic, Extreme, Thunder, Wolfsbane early 90's bands mainly. Great place Wolverhampton. Used to go over to Birmingham as well to party at Edwards.
Looking forward to Megadeths return in the not to distant future i hope.
Rock On .
