MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine joined British heavy metal legends SAXON on stage last night (Sunday, August 10) at the Bloodstock Open Air festival which was held at Catton Hall, Walton-On-Trent, West Midlands, United Kingdom to perform the song "Denim And Leather". Video footage of his appearance can be seen below.Mustaine named SAXON's "Sacrifice" one of his favorite albums of 2013, saying it was "loyal to the sound of the NWOBHM [New Wave Of British Heavy Metal], but thrashier. Great vocals and production round out a great album."On April 29 via UDR Music, SAXON released "St. George's Day Sacrifice - Live In Manchester", a "hidden treasure" recorded live at The Ritz in Manchester, England during the band's "Sacrifice" world tour.SAXON's previous album, "Unplugged And Strung Up", sold around 500 copies in the United States in its first week of release.MEGADETH latest album, 2013's "Super Collider", sold 29,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 6 on The Billboard 200 chart.
