Click the 'Mega Tools' tab on the home page and download the 'Mega Manager'.
Once you have the Mega Manager, there will be a tab for uploading.
You can choose what to call the file or create a password or no password.

if your dropbox is full, try sendspace, no waiting times there, and by downloading the wizard program it's very easy to upload and monitor your uploads, copy links and such

Dropbox is great for personal use but for uploading files intended to be shared with others it's a huge fail. My public folder has been suspended god knows how many times for exceeding an unadvertised bandwidth cap that you have no way of monitoring.

This. Dropbox isn´t reccomend for uploading a free album for everyone to download or anything, so again I reccomend Sendspace instead of megaupload, easier for both uploader and downloader

I second that.
If you need something in addition to your dropbox I've found that I really like using Mediafire. When I upload or download it goes as fast as my connection is capable of going. The free account has unlimited storage and bandwidth. It's advertising supported. I think mediafire is really impressive overall. The only limit is the 200mb max file size and the free account won't share a folder with one link so you must put a set of files in an archive to share it that way.
Due to there being no bandwidth cap, it is ideal for sharing a free album. I've seen a good many artists use it that way.
