dfhs ,
pod xt with the criminal and the mesa sim
bass is from ediroll quartet
synths are from nuendo 3 ,imbracer
guitars are one dean custom neckthru with evolutions and a charvel model 6 with emg 81 neckthru and ...a fernandes steeler also neckthru with a dimarzio x2n
bassdrum and snare are sampled with drumagog ,sneap samples

Hey man, that sounds great! Very transparent and powerful, and not "podish" at all (at least on my headphones). Have you quadtracked the guitars?
The only thing that could need improvement IMO is the drums, especially the cymbals.

Great tone, would love to see the project file (I hope I can open it with Cubase SL 3)!

Oh no, the drums are pretty cool, just the cymbals/hihat sound a little bit artifical sometimes (e.g. during the slow part around 2:00). But this could also be my cheap monitors

I wish my sound was like that. Cool song btw

I think the mix needs a high boost overall, then it will sound ace man, bring those synths up some though, black metal needs the synths to be heard.

Try 12khz or so, just needs a bit more sheen on it imo.
