Hi. I'm not any pro on this, but I'm not exactly terrible either... just have lots to learn. I'm looking for tips on how to improve the cymbal sound and your opinion if I compressed/limited the mix too much, and anything else you might share. Tell me if you dig the song too, it's mine Cheers!

Hey man!

You take song Mortal Share of Insomnium, and change the riffting, with different notes!!. WTF!

Not sounds bad, but is too similar!

It is similar, yeah. But I don't believe it's too similar. It's the second song I ever wrote, and I admit that I (almost subconciously) borrowed from the structure and overall sound of Mortal Share because it was completely stuck in my head at the time, but it's just how the song turned out. I haven't heard these riffs in an Insomnium song, or any other band's song before, so no, I didn't take song Mortal Share of Insomnium and change the riffting with different notes, thank you very much...
I like your band's stuff btw
