The mix as a whole sounds quiet and dry. The lead guitar needs a touch of 'verb or widening. Rhythm guitars need a lot more low-end and mids, and less high end. All of the drums besides the snare are nearly inaudible.

Thanks for the opinion. I've tried to fix some points.

1. Added more reverb to the rhythm guitars, lead guitars and drums.
2. Improved the EQ of the rhythm guitars. (boost low-end, increased mid, and decreased high-end.)
3. Whole sounds louder.

I think you still need to raise the volume of bass and drums.
Otherwise, nice sound. How do you record?

I agree with dertillo, the bass and drums could both come up a bit more. The 2nd sample is an improvement, though, you're on the right track.

I've used Metal Foundary for the drum track. Guitars were recorded with Peavey Revolver.
