MEMBERS OF PAGAN'S MIND, THEOCRACY, DARKWATER AND END OF SEPTEMBER
CONTRIBUTE TO CHARITY TRACK FOR HOMELESS RELIEF

Ulterium Records is proud to announce the release of "Collide & Spark",
an all-star charity track for sale with 100% of the income going to The
Bridge Bunch, an organization dedicated to serving the homeless
population of Nashville, TN, in the United States.

The song, which is almost seven minutes in length, is being released
under the banner Project Aegis, and was composed by Theocracy vocalist
and songwriter Matt Smith. It features vocals by Nils K. Rue [Pagan's
Mind], Henrik Båth [Darkwater], Elin Redin [End of September] and Smith,
as well as a guitar solo by Markus Sigfridsson [Darkwater, Harmony].

The artwork was created by Felipe Machado Franco [Blind Guardian,
Rhapsody of Fire] and designed by Markus Sigfridsson.

"This is such a cool opportunity to help make a difference in a small
way", says Smith. "Ninety-nine cents can go a long way toward giving
someone a hot meal or a sleeping bag, especially now, in the heart of
winter. Everyone associated with The Bridge Bunch works nonstop to serve
the large number of people struggling in the Nashville area, and every
penny of this goes to that very worthy cause. And the caliber of talent
on this track makes it something truly special indeed!"

I soiled my underpants when I heard that song.

If they did a full album, this would be an instant pre-order for me.. and imagine how much money they would raise for The Bridge Bunch..

Wow. Nils and Matt on the same song, with all the proceeds going to charity? This one's an automatic buy for me.

Wonder why power metal bands don't do limited 7" like their death/doom/black/punk counterparts? I'd be more apt to purchase that than a computer file. Still, the song itself sounds pretty damn awesome.

I guess so more people can buy it. More people can download a song digitally than can listen to vinyl.

We worked on this instead of a traditional Christmas track this year, so thanks for the support and I'm glad you guys are digging it. Have a great Christmas.

:worship: This is the song that gives Tobias Sammet sleepless nights, he wishes he wrote something just close...

That is pretty friggan sweet. I went and gave them a buck to download this from the Bandcamp site (in FLAC). I also agree with what a few others have already said - I would LOVE to see a full album made of music just like that track and gladly pay for it.
