I know I personally plan on buying 5 or 6 shirts, plus 10 to 20 cds depending on what I find. Does anyone have any plans or suggestions on how to carry these purchases around without them being in the way of enjoying the festival?

Also does anyone know if the vendors will have any Metal DVDs for sale?

Yeah the in/out priveleges are sweet. Nothing beats running back to the hotel, dumping your merchandise in the room, using the facilities, and running into various band members on the way there or back.

Yea, really, running back to the hotel is the best bet. It becomes a royal pain carrying your loot with you all night. Stock up, this is your best chance for great metal merchandise and cd's!

In my case its the shirts that take up the most of my luggage coming home. Cd's are easy to get for me BUT I do sometimes find a good one or two. But at least in the USA, shirts are hard to find and if you do find one, it's usually from overseas and they really gouge you with the shipping. Progpower is my yearly shirt stock up.

Even with my limited budget I managed to come back last year with a DVD, about 5 CD's and 2 or 3 shirts. So to answer your one question, some vendors do have DVD's.

In the "Advantages of Gold Badges" department....since Gold Badge holders get in early, this also means you have time to make your initial mad frenzy of buying stuff and then hike it back to your hotel to drop it off, and make it back in time for the evening's first band. \m/
