There's a jewish custom for Yom Kipur(Judgment day) that in the days between the hebrew new year's eve (which is around september-october) some people spin a chicken around your head for several times while whispering some prayer and this is supposed to take your sins away and transfer them to the chicken...then they brutally slaughter the sinfull chicken.
It's called "Tarnegol Kaparot" which means Rooster of atonement...
The silly things people do for religion...slaughtering goats is cool though...
