Anyone here has one? tried one?

Man, i tried this beauty in a music store, and after trying marshalls, peavey's, this one blew me away.. not because it was so damn loud, but because it had a nice warm crunch to it.. really nice and thick...

I am wondering though, i will only be using it for recording if i decide to go for it and buy one, but since it's a 1x12.. will i run into problems? is it enough?

Or should i go with a 6505 combo or a 6505 + with cabs? again, only for recording, and i feel a top with a 4x12 might be overkill.. and i heard the peavey combo is biased warmer straight out of the factory...

Trust your ears. There are pleanty of bands that have recorded albums using combos. You wont have as much variety with a 1 x12 vs. a 4 x12 but if it sounds good to your ears. Go for it.
