I don't find anything cool in this new track.
I don't like the new album's cover. And I wrote a message to their band email - about the fact that they should think better before producing this kind of shit.
But it doesn't mean that I love Meshuggah any less and that I'm disappointed or something, not yet...

Yeah I completely agree, much more interesting to listen to than anything off of that album. I especially like the ambient break in Bleed...it's unlike anything i've heard from them.

I take Catch 33 the same way as "Songs Of Grief And Solitude" of Drudkh - it's kind of experiment. Especially if to consider that the drums on it were programmed.

anyway I think it sounds pretty decent, although I will agree that the cover is fucking weird (reminds me of karma.bloody.karma due to the whole vishnu/blood combo thing)

not that chaosphere's art was exactly a masterpiece of subtlety or anything...

The song gets a bit boring, BUT I love the "slow" part in the middle of the song...and when it then speeds up again, fuck yes thats what its all about.

Yes, it does sound like Meshuggah. But each bands have good songs and so-so songs. This one - is nothing special, imo.
