Hi,
i am working hard on a metal production and I need your
help to get the best results out of it!


Info:

Drums:
- real drums
- edited
- 60% Slate Snare
- 100% Slate Kick and Toms

Bass:
- podfarm + IR

Guitars:
- quad tracked
- passiv pickups
- maxon od-9
- Peavey 6505
- Single Rectifier
- Mesa Rectifier 4x12
- single Shure SM57

Vocals:
- T.Bone SC450


It's not the final mix, no automations till now ...

What do you think about it? Right way?

I think it sounds pretty good, maybe too much ambience with the guitars but that's about it.

ok, I will try to reduce the ambience.

Another Problem, the melody guitar tracks are simulated by a podfarm. Maybe I should reamp this too!?

Any other opinions to the mix or the several instruments?
 
dude! i feel like the production works for it!
just cut a little low end out of the guitars maybe? they sound a little bit rumbly.
but ya i think it works for the song
