Metal Amp Room in May! Seems like us metal guys are getting a lot of attention from these amp modelers as of lately but I'm not complaining about it!

yeah the lack of a cab bypass in vintage amp room is the only thing that really bothers me about it. but still to me it is amazing for cleans and semi distorted sounds.cant wait for metal amp room!

I'm not totally into modelers or anything but I was on gearslutz and I saw this under the new product section. I am intrigued by Tue Madsen's involvement. Sounds like they took impulses of cabs at the old studio fredman with Madsen at the helm which is sweet. Could be cool but I don't know. Definitely a different look to the whole gui of the plugin.

The clips themselves weren't terribly impressive, but it does show a lot of potential, especially considering how good people are getting PODs to sound nowadays.

Oh yeah, Tue Madsen definitely got his hands on this one, the lead channel is a Powerball (the rhythm channel is a PB with a JCM 2000 input stage), and the Metal cab is an Engl E412VS.

that's really lame that you need an ilok just to get the demo. I like the clips but I wish it offered more amps and cabs.

I checked the softube samples yesterday and didn't like it so much for "metal", but your clip sounds very good.

Hey, thanks a lot for your comment. It's just a Gibson studio through an Avalon U5 into Protools, no eq or comp on the guits, tracked once.
