To celebrate this birthday Metal Blade have decided to organize an event with a few bands playing and lots of extras!

To give this special day a name it should be called “METAL BLADE RRROOOAAARRR” from now on!

The METAL BLADE RRROOOAAARRR will be held on the 2nd of October, 2005 in the LKA (Longhorn) in Stuttgart. A nice day for a big party as the 3rd of October is a National holiday in Germany!

Bands to play are:
Amon Amarth
Brainstorm
Primordial
Cataract

The opening act is still to be announced!
All bands will be performing special sets with a few surprises in their setlists – expect the unexpected! After the AMON AMARTH headlining gig a Metal Blade all-star-band will be playing a few cover tunes!

Of course we have a bit more to offer: Every visitor will get a free CD! There will be special event merchandise for fair prices available at the venue. In between the bands there will be presentations and lotteries – lots of goodies will be raffled among the visitors.

Tickets for the RRROOOAAARRR are only available via www.metalblade.de – each ordered ticket will be accompanied by a free poster. Tickets are only 20,00 Euros. We recommend to order tickets in advance. Go to www.metalblade.de and click on the banner for further details!

NO WAY is too far for Brainstorm!!!

sorry... thats about 3-4 times refilling my thirsty's car tank... i cannot afford that :erk: and the sad thing is that i´m not finding anyone who will come with me to Stuttgart.

Edit: I should check my geography knowledge. Its not that much that i thought, only ~300km. So (with driving around in Stgt itself) it would be about 50L petrol (60Euro at the current Litre-Price o_O). But still Problem B.

Also, and thats the other side of the medal, my "boss" told me today i´ll have the opportunity to enjoy a few-weeks stay in a foreign country to gather some experience. But up to now i just know "that" but not "when" and "where". I guess its between August and November, still don´t know yet.

regards
Sebastian

I can understand the factor of travelling costs......but with 3-4 fillings your car must really be thirsty ;)
I for my part would of course love to be there too but as it looks now I'm flying back from Oslo on Oct 2nd...and I highly doubt I will make it to Stgt the same day. :( Well, I cannot be everywhere, especially not at the same time.

That could actually turn out quite cool!!! Let us know where you are sent to :) (you must know about possible countries?)

I think nearly everyone would be happy if there was an possibility to split up and go to two places :D

Possibly Countries hmpf... Its really a lot countries! A colleague of my Trainee-Group went to Birningham for 6 Weeks! Another one to London, could be outside of UK too, so i really cannot make 100%-Statements yet ;).
Be Sure: If you´re interested I`ll let you know!

I would go to Germany for this gig but as I'm seeing Brainstorm on OCT 16 and 17 supporting the Mighty Saxon at Bradford Rio's and Dudley Jb's so I can't do this tour! Brainstorm have a nice growning fan base here in the UK, I'd like them to do BOA or Bloodstock indoor Festivals in 06! :headbang: :headbang: :worship: :worship: :headbang: :headbang:

There are News :-D:

I`ll be in Birmingham from 1st August to the 9th September this year. Good Possibility to save some money for the travelling costs ;-). If i get some holiday i think its likely that i`ll be at the GIG!.

For those who are interested: i am preparing a "homepage" with a blog and a photo-gallery to inform friends and family when i am away for the six weeks. I´ll tell you more about as soon as theres something to tell ;)
