Metal Church calls it quits

To clarify, the "they" in the second sentence of my previous post is in reference to a possible Metal Church return, not SPV.

My apologies for any confusion.

really annoying since many bands I like are on SPV or distributed through them now: Angra, Saxon, Blackmore's Night, Motorhead, Freedom Call, Helloween and more I can't recall right now.

I figure in 20 years if the music industry doesn't get it's shit together, somehow, there will be no more music industry. Nobody under 25 buys CDs anymore and the industry isn't bringing in a new generation to sustain it. It's what killed Comic books in the 1990s.

Likewise, nobody buys DVDs anymore. The only area where people still spend their money is video games because of the high levels of copy protection.

Howe = a much better singer. And personally, I much preferred his era with the band.

Dug the first album, but Blessing was just so much better.

I guess there is where you, Bryant and me will always agree :headbang:

As for your point on the music industry I guess it's right. I also expect that Blu-Ray will come with high protection systems otherwise it's suffer along CDs and DVDs.
Still the moment bands will not longer issues CDs but only downloads I will stop following them and live on memory lane :saint:

I agree that lately it was Vanderhoof and a bunch of guys but the current line up was OK and their albums were decent. Nothing compare with the crappy "Masterpiece".

I saw them in Spain with Wayne during "Masterpiece" tour and it was amazing, a dream come true. Then, in 2006 they played in a festival and it was great too. They included my personal favourite "Badlands" and they blowed my head.
