Metal Church is coming

The new band only has Kirk Arrington and Kurdt vanderhoof as far as original members, but they still sound like Metal Church. I think you will have a hard time making a long list of better American power metal bands than Metal Church. THey pretty much kick-ass stil. I like their new CD.

Vanderhoof is such a cool last name though! :headbang:

Go see them and raise some hell !! Get some pix of Dad too. I like to make fun of him. I am his age and have a baby on the way. He will have the next 18 years to make fun of me. Can you see me at a metal concert at 52 ? I can !!

I think he is going to try to find a way out of going but I can't get in without him....damn 21 and over shows. Dad doesn't like Metal Church very much.

Blackmail him! Tie him up in the basement and force him to listen to Pat Boone Records and then play him Blessing in disguise Might work.... lol Good luck dude

I was at the Prog Power USA forum and was begging the promoter to get UDO to come to the states to play when someone mentioned Accept is actually doing a few shows in 2005. It is on the U.D.O. official website, but another poster stated that one of the shows was going to be in Sweden. The particular shows and dates aren't mentioned on the U.D.O. website, but I have no reason to think the poster is lying.
While this has nothing to do with Tad Morose, a band as huge and inspirational as the mighty Accept reuniting if for just a few shows is news to me. I just wanted to let our Swedish posters here to know. Udo isn't a young guy and has had a couple of heart attacks, so I don't know when he will hang up the mic. This might be a good time to see a lewgend playing metal music.

MC was last night, didn't go, no job=no money=no metal church. I just watched Mash Re-runs instead :erk:

Sorry dude. I don't usually like to bring your age thing up, but in this instance I think it is fitting.........

I never had the luxury of going to a Prog Power when I was 16. My Mom didn't like metal (except a little DIo.) You will get your chance to go to many metal shows. Hang in there my brother !!

back to the topic of the new Metal Church - I ordered it from The End Records without hearing a sample and going on Bryant's recommendation alone. I'll be opening it in a few hours (it's under the tree with a dozen other cds :tickled: ). As soon as I spin it, I'll be giving a review here.
