Metal Core + DistX ReAmp Test

Hi,

I am trying to get some heavy sounds with my
re-amping setup. Have a listen and tell me if it sounds
OK or what it needs. There are 3 sections in the song,
each using a different amp setting.

This sounds extremely distant and thin to me. What is your chain and method?

Hi arcana83,

My signal chain is :
1. Guitar -> DistX -> Amp -> Mics
2. Guitar -> MetalCore -> Amp -> Mics

I then blend the signals from 1 and 2.

I turned the treble and presence way down on the pedals and
on the amps. Do you think this is what you are hearing when
you say distant and thin ?

This one has a little more presence in it, does it make any difference ?
