Has anyone seen Global Metal yet?

Apparently they are still sorting through hundreds of hours of footage shot on the last Iron Maiden tour. So they're planning to make more? How many more do you think we need?

I got home from work late last night and sat down with my dinner and a beer and was looking for something to watch and realised I hadn't watched disc two from Metal: a headbangers journey. Interesting to see someone bellydancing to blackmetal...

Really is that on the second disc ... don't think i watched that either, As for gobal metal I have seen it in JB Hi Fi and read a brief fleeting review of it, its seems to focus on the Middle East, India, and Asian countries without good old Oz getting a mention ... think i will give this a miss until either someone raves about it or when Jb Hi Fi put it in the $9.99 Bargin Bin....

I also have these two as well : Heavy Metal - Louder Than Life and a old VHS version of Decline of the

Whats Heavy Metal like?

I remember Decline from the old days, Chris Holmes paro in his pool, bottles of vodka and his mother. Classic:kickass: Of course the musical highlight was Megadeth:headbang:

I was planning on hiring out Global Metal at some point. I really enjoyed A Headbangers Journey. Apparently they speak with Melechesh and Nile and other such bands in Global Metal, which I would find interesting.
AHBJ was alright but I was drinking on at the time, I'm gonna watch it again asap to refresh my memory - that and my wife said she wanted to watch it so I'll be more sober this time around:lol:. I'm interested in seeing what they come up with next but I wonder how much further they can take it?

I'd like to see the stuff on Asian metal. I find it interesting, because the existence of metal is so incongruous with many of the cultures there.

Thanks for that Bucko. :OMG:I had completely forgot about Ozzy's pissed breakfast:kickass: Between him and Chris Holmes its no wonder I've grown up with a fondness for inebriation!

Anyone checked out Warning: Parental Guidance? I don't think its an actual doco but is made like one.
